Every child is different. Every brain is, too.

October is World Mental Health Day and ADHD awareness month. We’re encouraging caregivers to focus on a vital, invisible part of their child — the brain.

When caregivers and kids understand how the brain processes information, everything else begins to make more sense, too. And when kids are taught to think of their brain as their buddy, they can treat themselves with more empathy. To support the effort, we’ve created a Brain Buddy, who is featured on our helpful activity sheets, flyers, webinar, and more.

A letter from the California State Superintendent

The California Department of Education (CDE), in collaboration with the California Health and Human Services Agency and the Department of Health Care Services, recognizes BrightLife Kids as an essential partner for schools. They not only approve of our program, but also encourage educators to promote our services and incorporate our high-quality behavioral health coaching into their existing wellness supports.
